Kalispell is hosting its first indoor soccer tournament, bringing in teams and visitors from around the northwestern United States and Canada.The tournament is being held at the Trade Center Building at the Northwest Montana Fairgrounds March 2-4 and has 36 boys and girls teams participating.
On Friday the finishing touches were put on the turf brought in from Spokane for the evening’s games starring local teams.

BILLINGS, MT – Rob Zimmerman found himself without any soccer responsibilities this past fall. For a guy who had been active in the sport for the past 20 years or so, it was quite a change for the 1989 Billings West graduate.
“That was hard not to be around it,” Zimmerman said Tuesday after he was hired as the new coach for the Billings West girls program. “This fall it was definitely a void without having any soccer to follow that I was directly in involved with. I’m excited to get back into it.”

U.S. Soccer’s membership elected Carlos Cordeiro as U.S. Soccer’s 32nd President during the National Council Meeting at the Federation’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) this morning at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld. Cordeiro, who won on the third ballot, replaces outgoing President Sunil Gulati and will serve a four-year term.

HELENA – Quality programs make it a priority to keep their home-grown talent. Carroll College did that Tuesday, signing soccer players Cailyn Wall and Katie Martin from the state champion Helena High Bengals and Helena Capital star Ashley Carlson.

GREAT FALLS, Mont. – After reviewing over 80 applications and interviewing a handful of candidates, the University of Providence athletic department has named a new Head Men’s Soccer Coach, dropping the interim tag from Matt Ball’s title, and naming him as the team’s new head coach. Ball has been the program’s Interim Head Coach since the job became open on December 18.

Portland Community College is seeking a Head Coach for the Women’s Soccer Program, based out of the beautiful Rock Creek Campus.
This part-time position reports to the Director of Athletics and works with campus departments, and athletic commissioners to ensure compliance with all NWAC rules. The program is seeking a coach with a history of winning records, and producing academically successful student athletes.
The part-time position reports to the Director of Athletics and receives a stipend of ($6,000). This position closes on Friday, February 2, 2018.
